Raspberry Patch Fruit Tisane: |
| Hibiscus is also a primary ingredient in many herbal teas. This fusion blend gives hibiscus more of a primary role with the Raspberry. In Mexico, hibiscus is well known for its color, tanginess and mild flavor; once sugar is added, it tastes somewhat like a more intense herbal and berry infused tea. This makes the addition of raspberry so easy. Both flavors play so well together. Dieters or people with kidney problems often take it without adding sugar for its beneficial properties and as a natural diuretic. It has also been shown to lower blood pressure. |
Complimenting ways to enjoy Raspberry Patch |
- Neat - Steep the desired amount of Raspberry Patch and enjoy
straight up for a robust beverage
- Sweet - Adding sweetener will tone the tartness this tisane naturally has.
- Iced - Simply steep as usual, add your sweetener while you steep, and pour over ice
- Pitcher - Steep a concentrate, generally speaking 4tbsp of tea will make a 2 quart pitcher. If sweeter is desired, its best to use simple syrup. Fill your pitcher with ice and pour in your concentrate, add water to the top or to the desired strength.
- Tip - Because the fruits expand while steeping we find using a french press works very well as you can press down on the fruit to squeeze out every last bit of goodness.
- Tip - This blend can be steeped for as long as you want, but make sure to use very hot water as the heat will pull the flavors out.
